This paper will demonstrate that science advances with findings that expand how much one hears, see or knows. Over the last few decades, innovations within numerous spheres have occurred and provided improvements within humanity’s lives as well as within the scientific community including medicine, the environment, computers, and more.
In the field of medicine, such techniques as CRISPR-Cas 9 system open a new page in the treatment of the monogenic disorders and the possibilities to cure diseases at the molecular level. However, due to the advancement in the development of vaccines such as the mRNA vaccines in combating COVID-19; new approaches to addressing other communicable diseases, not to mention cancer, have been made.
Environmental science has also marked its progress especially in combating effects of climate change. Scientists keep advancing in generating renewable power, for example, better solar power cells and nuclear fusion as the next “free” resource. Also, developments in the carbon capture and storage tools are being enhanced to control the effects of greenhouse gases.
Technology is revolutionizing the various industries with the help of application, artificial intelligence (AI) auto cars, and Industrial robots. Quantum computing is an emerging technology but if developed, is expected to solve problems that cannot be solved using classical computers, some of those areas include encryption and material chemistry.
Interest in space still remains high, especially as the attempts to explore mars are still still in progress. Not only does the Perseverance rover investigate the possibility of Mars’ past presence of extraterrestrial life but also the infrastructure for humans to live on Mars. Traditional space launch vehicles are not economically feasible for reuse and this is the main reason why companies like SpaceX are in the process of developing a reusable rocket.
Such advances make it clear that science is an unrelenting process through which the world evolves making the future look novel and promising. Such primary concepts are so fascinating that they open an option of new discoveries, thus pushing humanity forward.
